Sleep fragmentation

Anyone here fix issues of multiple wake ups thru the night? For me initially was every hr. Now i go anywhere from 1hr to 3hr so pretty average about 5 times waking up every night. Best nights still wake up 2 times

  1. So it all started from not being able to sleep for like 9 days vitamin d cause me to be up for a few days and im guessing I created this pattern from the stress of no sleeping. I have been taking medication but no luck as of yet. I dont think i have sleep apnea but that will be the next thing.

As I noted in another reply, we are not medical experts, but from my own experience and from what I have seen in this community, it sounds like you need help restting your sleep cycle unless you suffer from chronic stress and anxiety and feel the antidepressant is helping. A good sleep specialist can help you with that whereas a primary care doctor might not have that kind of expertise. Have you ever seen a sleep specialist? - Lori (Team Member)

  2. Welcome to the community, . I am glad you found us. Have you always had broken sleep patterns or did something trigger this a while back? Sometimes, even if the trigger is gone, the mind and body have trouble breaking the habit. Could that be what is happening with you? Have you talked with your doctor about it? If not, that would be the first place to start. You doctor can suggest or prescribe some treatments to get you back on track or send you for a sleep study. Wishing you the best. - Lori (Team Member)
