When I Wake Up at Night and Can't Sleep...This Is What I do

My particular version of sleeplessness, even after recovering from insomnia, is waking in the night with a busy brain. I discussed a visualization mantra type technique I like to use when I first wake up, but I have a plan to protect my sleep in the event sleep doesn't return to me after that first approach.

Do you wake up at night? Do you lay there frustrated? Or do you have a plan for what you do when you wake at night?

If you haven't had a plan, and want to try this, please let us know what works for you in the comments!
