Insomnia sucks

I’ve been suffering from insomnia for over 30 years. But for the past year I’ve actually been getting sleep because of the medication I’m on. Now all the sudden, out of nowhere, for the past three days I have not been able to sleep at all. I am all the sudden stiff and sore with some hip and shoulder pain keeping me up. Totally out of the blue. I did not change anything. It just seems that I periodically have pains at night that keep me up and it comes and goes. I can go for months without any pain. All I know is I’m so frustrated with not being able to sleep. I am sleeping for 10 minutes and then up for five minutes sleeping for another 15 minutes then up for five minutes, etc. etc. etc. all night.

  1. Have you tried cbd with chamomile oil? I recently have and it helps me.
I use the Garden Of Life brand.

  2. Hi , I am so sorry to hear that you haven't been able to sleep recently due to to pain & stiffness! If you haven't already, we definitely recommend chatting with your doctor, especially since your medication had been working so well! We hope you're able to get some answers soon! In the meantime, here is an article about "painsomnia" that you may find relatable: https://insomnia.sleep-disorders.net/living/ankylosing-spondylitis-painsomnia. Best, Allison (Team Member)
