Sudden change in sleep timings

I used to sleep late at night, after midnight...my duration of sleep was 7-8 hours...I suffered a couple sleepless night and incorporated 30 minutes of exercise and melatonin to my daily routine to fall asleep, I started sleeping early now since a few days...I fall asleep quickly, but the duration is reduced and I wake up very early...I feel like my body is confused, due to sudden change in sleep timings...what should I do? any suggestions? Thank You!

  1. Hey!! , I think you need to consult with a doctor that treats can your illness for your sleep issue. I have had a sleeping disorder for the last 2 years, I went through many downs with its severity. I consulted with many doctors but didn't get any positive results. Some time ago I consulted with a doctor through Ongo Care urgent care in California. The doctor did many counseling sessions with me and prescribed medication and advice every time. Now I am feeling well and getting better sleep with my doctor's efforts and advice. So I suggest you go with a telehealth doctor, that will help you to get better and advise you about your sleep.

    1. I used to really struggle with sleep too - so I know how you’re feeling! Literally nothing worked. Eventually I had to resort to pills but that gave me so many side effects, I would feel low and groggy the entire day. I then saw a post about this app called sleep reset.. They said that you can take a sleep assessment for free so I decided to try that out. Wow, it was amazing! They identified how my sleep was and then connected me with an actual coach to help me and guide me through the entire process! I got lucky cause there was a 50% discount offer going on at the time, and it was definitely the best investment I’ve ever made. 6 weeks later and I’m sleeping like a baby. If you want to try it out, I’ll share the link to the assessment with you: https://thesleepreset.com/assessment?utm_source=OrganicWeb. Hope it’s helpful!!

      1. Sorry for the slow reply! It must be frustrating to have developed some insomnia with the altered sleep times. Do you stay in bed for a little while hoping to get back to sleep? There are not a lot of solutions for insomnia at waking time. Hopefully over time it will settle. Did you say you’re taking melatonin to help? Can you take it a bit later before you go to bed?

        Cheers.
