What strange suggestions have you tried when it comes to insomnia?

You know what frustrates me more than anything else? Scrolling through social media only to see post after post declaring that companies have found the answers to all that ails us. From wrinkles and age spots to the be-all-end-all cure for weight struggles, social media has it covered, doesn’t it? Have you noticed some of those cures that claim to help insomnia?   1. Have had insomnia approx 10 yrs cannot recall anything that triggered it, my oldest sister also has very bad insomnia & my younger brother also to a lesser extent, i was told that 1 of my grandmother's died indirectly from insomnia, will talk to my Dr about CBT-T

  2. The only thing that works for me is 2 puffs of maijuana it allows me to sleep 2-4 hrs, have seen my regular Dr also a Neurologist also have tried staying @ a sleep study which was a joke since their req. Is that i need to sleep 6 hrs to gather enough data if i could get 6 hrs sleep i would not need to have a sleep study, i would like to find another way other than marijuana, Dr's seem to always want patients on drugs so America can be under the influence which keeps big pharmaceutical Co. Raking in billions.

    1. Hi . I can see why you are so frustrated. Have you ever tried cognitive behavioral therapy - insomnia (CBT-T)?
