Sleep Gadgets

What gadgets do you use to help with insomnia (ex. headphones, mobile apps, white noise machines, alarm clocks, etc.)?

  1. and the earbuds do not fall out when you sleep

    1. Bose sleep buds II work real well. I use the campfire sound. Only negative is they are expensive and need constant charging but its worth it. I get an extra bit of sleep when ever I use it. Its especially useful if you need to nap during the day or to sleep outside your normal sleep schedule.

      1. Also I like the app "Better Sleep" formally called Relax Melodies. For that the regular Bose earbuds will stay secure in your ear as you sleep. The Bose sleep buds mentioned earlier restricts you to Bose sounds only.

      2. Definitely adding this app to my list! Thank you! April, Insomnia.Sleep-Disorders.net, Moderator

      1. I personally don’t use any gadgets but I’ve used some really helpful apps in the past (particularly Calm and some hypnosis apps). They didn’t necessarily help me sleep but they certainly relaxed me. I know a lot of people swear by white noise also. I did write an article about the types of sleep apps available that you might find interesting.
