INTRODUCTION
The way of living with the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOD) gives us countless challenges, one of the most draining things is having insomnia that is the inability to sleep. This story traverses my personal incident with insomnia caused by PCOD, describing the signs of insomnia,necessary safeguard taken by me, and the vital and indispensable support from my family.
THE ONSET OF SLEEPLESSNESS STRUGGLE with insomnia began suddenly, when nights became more and more uneasy, stressy and weird.
Initially, I ascribe it to stress and quotidian anxieties, but as sleepless nights developed into weeks, I knew something was definitely wrong with me. So during a routine medical examination I discovered and diagnosed with PCOD.This condition was affecting my hormonal levels that was ruling to various symptoms, including insomnia.
SYMPTOMS AND THEIR IMPACT
Insomnia is connected to PCOD which is very confusing and complex. Hormonal imbalances often hinder or obstruct rather inhibit our natural sleep cycle which makes it difficult to fall asleep. I experienced long periods of Watches at night, followed by forenoon fatigue, aggressiveness, Crankiness, and it was even interfering in my concentrating ability for different work or activities like workout or aerobics or any sort of physical training. I even dominated by some physiological rather anatomical symptoms of PCOD, such as gaining excess body weight,loss of hair or loss of scalp hair, dark patches on my skin,depression,oily skin. it needle my stress level further exacerbate my insomnia.
PRECAUTIONS I TOOK
When I am speaking or discussing insomnia it needs a complicated attitude towards it. Before anything else , I had to control or cope with my PCOD through some treatment,drugs,few home made remedies and lifestyle changes. I needed to control and stabilize and evaluate my insulin levels, while oral contraceptives helped me to manage hormonal variations or balance.
Corresponding to medication, adopting a healthier lifestyle of living my life set off a crucial and pivotal role in my life. Doing systematic or methodical exercises like yoga and zumba , helped me to increase and strengthen and also enhanced my all-inclusive health and it also helped me to control and cope my stress level . Few nutritive or nutritional changes, such as reducing sugar addition to the diet and eating a balanced diet , helped me to stabilize and assess my hormonal levels. In addition, a prolonged or consistent sleep pattern and making a soothing bedtime pattern became crucial and necessary. I found few hobbies rather than introduced those hobbies like reading, warm baths, and meditation .
FAMILY SUPPORT PLAYS A CRUCIAL AND IMPORTANT ROLE AS THEY ARE REGARDED AS THE PIER OF STRENGTH. Hence while I was sailing across and Navigating insomnia it would have been seriously and crucially more demanding and I found it difficult without the firm and persistent support of my family. My parents and my elder sister were not only sympathetic towards my condition but search for or try to find ways to help me to manage rather cope with my situation.
They concoct rather established an encouraging or caring environment, they even made certain changes like my house remained silent during my selected sleeping hours and they also encourage few strong and hearty healthy habits. My mother and my sister took the energy and dynamism to arrange my meals and line up my nutritional needs, while my father often gave me company during evening walks which became a routine that aid relaxation. my mind modification and mental refreshment before bedtime helped me to sleep properly. My elder sister exhibited rather flashed remarkable,extraordinary and unforgettable affinity,understanding and empathy towards me and often participating in quiet activities to make sure that I had a calm,pleasant and restful environment which helped me to sleep properly.
CONCLUSION
Insomnia produced by PCOD is demanding and was testing my patience, by affecting numerous aspects of my life. However, through an amalgamation of medical interference and mediation and few lifestyle changes and moderation and restrictions brought many changes in my life, and strong family support made it easier for me to cope with this problem.
it is viable and likely Managible to reduce rather alleviate its impact. My journey with insomnia and PCOD has been one of the most powerful journeys where I adapted to point out few significance and consequences of a total and broad approach towards health and the important and crucial role of my family in overcoming personal challenges means a lot to me. As I continue to sail across this condition, I remain optimistic,confident positive and prepare myself with a different set of tactics and the love of those around me.
