I haven’t been able to sleep before 5am.

I don’t know when it started or how it started. I was kind of sleeping normally before about 2 weeks ago. My sleep cycle hasn’t always been stable, but I’d usually be able to sleep at around 1-2 am or earlier until now. Whatever I do, I can’t fall asleep before 5am and it’s so frustrating I think I’m going insane. I’d go to bed at around 10pm after taking some magnesium and close my eyes, put on relaxing music, boring history podcasts, asmr, whatever I try I can’t sleep. So I try to occupy myself with something until I fall asleep like reading a book, strumming some soft guitar tunes, talking to myself, scrolling, etc. I’m out of options here, can anyone give me some tips or explain what is going on?

  1. Hi . Two weeks can seem like forever when you're getting no sleep. When that happens to me, I find that taking melatonin or Benadryl helps me drift off to sleep earlier kind of resets my internal clock. Have you tried anything like that? Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. Thanks for your suggestion, I’ll for sure to try it.

    2. Keep us updated, if you don't mind. I hope you're able to get some sleep tonight. - Lori (Team Member)
