Chronic anxiety and sleep disorders

Im currently strong medication which i hate and yet I'm still not sleeping

  1. Hi . Im sorry to heart that. I have this anxiety as well, where it creates a factor in my bad sleeping habit and schedules. If you’re hoping to shift toward home remedies and a more natural diet, you could also look into phytotherapy. It focuses on plant-based remedies like on leaf to life, and some people find it helpful for sleep, although results can vary. Since you’re already on strong medication, it’s safest to check with a doctor or pharmacist firs

    1. Please know we are here for you. The addictive nature of zipiclone is so often overlooked by doctors. There are many therapists who treat zipiclone addiction. I hope you will reach out and ask for help.
Addiction is not your fault and it is not a weakness on your part. It is disease-- a chemical imbalance in the brain triggered by certain substances. You wouldn't blame yourself for an allergy and you shouldn't blame yourself for an addiction. Please try to think of this assessment as an opportunity instead of something to fear. You have a chance to get out from under this.
If you feel up to it, let us know how it goes. I have a feeling you are not alone in this. I will be sending loads of positive energy your way. - Lori (Team Member)

    2. I'll be thinking about you as you get ready for this assessment. I hear how scared you are and have definitely felt anxious at times when dealing with tough situations at the doctor. Maybe you can try to view this as the first step to feeling better? You are going to a professional to have them try to help you -- that is a great thing! Be gentle with yourself. We are here for you. -Melissa, team member

  2. Hi . My heart goes out to you. Have you ever considered cognitive behavioral therapy - insomnia (CBT-I)? Here is an article about it that might interest you: https://insomnia.sleep-disorders.net/treatment. It requires a lot of commitment on the patient's part, but it has high success rates. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
