Sleeping During The Day

New member and first post.
I retired 1-Feb-21 after 43 year of working the Oilpatch all over the world.
It is just my wife and I at home. She is retired also. We are early 60's.
We both are night owls.
We have gotten into the habit of not falling asleep until ~0500 hrs and then awakening at about 1300 hrs.
We both feel fine and we are just wondering if this is OK? Or is it harmful ?
Thank you for any advice.

  1. Hi & welcome to our Insomnia community ! We definitely recommend speaking with your doctor given the change in sleep pattern. In the meantime, here is an article that you may find helpful: https://insomnia.sleep-disorders.net/clinical/aging-affects. Best, Allison (Team Member)
